EuroLifeNet News - 2009 November

  • 13 November 2009: Took take place on the 13-14 November 2009, the III EuroLifeNet International Conference, Personal exposure to air pollutants: Research, Policies and Awareness through participatory science and education , at ISCSP-UTL, Lisbon.

    The Conference was co-organized by CITIDEP and IES-JRC (Joint Research Center of the European Commission), with GAS (Anti-Smog di Milano). Participated researchers from Italy, Ireland, UK, Belgium, Suisse, USA and Portugal, as well dozens of highschool teachers from Italy and Portugal. Participants could also register for a formal training credit, for which counted attending the Conference. [Program] [Conference page]

  • 27 February 2009: Took place at LabTecCS/ISCSP-UTL, Lisbon, 27 February 2009, a strategic meeting with partners of the EuroLifeNet Program. Among the important decisions, it was agreed to convene the III EuroLifeNet International Conference on the 13 / 14 November 2009, in Lisbon, with a scientific focus.

  • 17 January 2009: Tania Fonseca (CITIDEP, E.S.J.E.A, Açores) and Dulce Pinto (E.S.A.A., Almada) presented on the 17 January 2009 their schools experience with EuroLifeNet, at the Seminar Eco-Schools, in Seia, Portugal. Invitated by the organizers (ABAE - European Blue Flag Association), CITIDEP President, Pedro Ferraz de Abreu, presented the overall outcome of this Program and its future steps.
